Multiplication tables check centre
The multiplication tables check (MTC) is statutory for all year 4 pupils registered at maintained schools,special schools or academies, including free schools,in England.
The service opens to schools on Monday 28 April 2025.

MTC Service
The MTC service is where schools will prepare to administer the check. This can be accessed via DfE Sign-in from Monday 28 April 2025.
Schools must generate a school password and individual pupil PIN within the MTC service before pupils are able to sign in to access the check using the pupil application.
The assessment services are accessed via DfE Sign-in. To learn more about DfE Sign-in, click on ‘DfE Sign-in ‘Help’ after signing into your account or ask the DfE Sign-in help assistant.
